The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were great. They were provided in a courtyard area which was very pleasant to sit in and relax. The location of the hotel is in the old town so it is in a very convenient location to everything one wants to see. It is a quiet location as no cars are allowed. Our room was in the annex and therefore cheaper and more basic but it did have a fridge and ability to make hot drinks.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The room was super spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even offering to do our laundry in less than 24 hours. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, with made-to-order eggs and great coffee. The location in the heart of the old town was jaw-dropping, making it easy to explore the charming city. We were even upgraded to a junior suite without having to pay extra. This hotel truly exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Greece.

The room was beautiful! We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which had a spa tub and beautiful ceiling mural. Breakfast was good but might be nice to have it in the courtyard or brought to room. Easy acess to bus and shopping. Thanks everyone for your commitment to Casa Vitae.

As a senior woman traveling alone, I found Casa Vitae to be a wonderfully decorated and cozy hotel. The charming courtyard with the potted plants and peaceful atmosphere was perfect for relaxation. The hotel's location in the old town was convenient for me to explore the narrow cobbled alleys and visit the beautiful Venetian harbor. The fact that it was a pedestrian-only street made it very accessible for senior people like me to stroll around without any worries.
I only wished that there were more comfortable seating options in the general areas of the hotel, especially for senior people. Sometimes, after a long day of exploring, I wanted to relax and read a book, but found the available seating to be a bit too firm and not as supportive as I would have liked.

It was one of the best hotels I ever stayed in Crete. Very friendly and the prices were fair for the value that was offered.

This charming villa with its stunning decor and old-world charm is the perfect home for a family vacation. It is centrally located in the heart of the old town, just footsteps away from all the attractions. The villa boasts a beautiful courtyard where a delicious breakfast is served, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip and the natural light adds to its beauty.
The parking situation can be a bit tricky, so it's important to be aware of the correct location for parking to avoid any confusion.

A boutique hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Lovely courtyard for dining. Everything is clean and well presented. It is in the old town with its maze of narrow pedestrian streets. Vehicles have to be parked outside of the area but the car park across from the police station is a very safe area.
The lack of lifts may be a problem for some.

Very close to the Fortezza and within the old town area. Easy to walk to sites and restaurants. In a quiet area so no problems sleeping. Beds were good - firm but not hard. Room was well appointed and breakfast downstairs in the courtyard was a set menu.

The charming decoration of Casa Vitae created a warm and inviting atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. The hotel's common areas were tastefully designed, offering a cozy and relaxing ambiance for senior people like myself. Additionally, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with smooth surfaces and handrails in place to ensure safe and comfortable movement.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or entertainment options suitable for senior guests. However, the children working there did their best to accommodate our needs and make our stay enjoyable.

I stayed at Casa Vitae to get ready for my wedding day and to stay there for our wedding evening. The staff could not do enough for us. They were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and just what we needed the morning after our wedding. Casa Vitae is based in the Old Town within easy walking distance of the Fortezza and the little backstreets of shops and tavernas. We would have loved to have stayed longer and if we come back we would certainly stay here again.
